That is sound advice, the 5% import fee is fair and I use it a lot but its definitely a downfall if you are listed at dan/godaddy In fact, I don't understand why anyone lists at 15-25% when you can use a lander and just import your sale at a reasonable 5%

It's a blip, google domain admins are going to kep leaving, I don't know of one domain admin from my circle that stayed with squarespace after the google fiasco. Squarespace will grow on the consumer end but admins that depend on their websites will be very cautious especially with the price...

Like I said, I looked at them and nixed them pretty well right away. In reality NOTHING beats your own landers with ZERO commission. Don't have your own landers for .CA? Look at my profile and copy what I do to be 100% commission free.

GoDaddy is not factoring in that domainers have overhead costs. In some cases domainers with thousands of domains may only sell 1-2 per year and the prices quoted are also for the upkeep of a catalog that kept the domain available for that special project when a client needed it.
